Abramson Employment Law is a Pennsylvania employment law firm which helps employees fight unfair practices by their employers such as discrimination based upon age, race, sex, religion and national origin, sexual harassment, overtime and unpaid wage disputes and violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The firm also represents clients in unemployment compensation hearings, severance agreements, executive employment contracts and disability and pension benefit claims.
Abramson Employment Law is located in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia and represents clients throughout Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia and Montgomery Bucks, Delaware, Chester, Lancaster, Lehigh and Berks Counties and Southern New Jersey. We have also been called upon to represent clients outside our immediate area when employees feel more comfortable with an attorney outside of the immediate geographic area of their workplace. We often handle cases involving large publicly traded and privately held employers. Most often our adversaries are lawyers who work at large local or national law firms.
Andrew S. Abramson is the principal of Abramson Employment Law. Mr. Abramson has been practicing law since 1989. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Abramson was employed by a large center city Pennsylvania law firm, Hoyle, Morris and Kerr, where his typical client was a large national corporation and he was involved in litigating cases with teams of attorneys throughout the United States. In 1995 Mr. Abramson realized a lifelong dream to start his own law firm. He increasingly began to concentrate the vast majority of his practice in employment law, developing experience in all facets of an active employment law practice, where he assists employees in protecting their rights.
Mr. has been repeatedly recognized as a Super Lawyer in Plaintiff Employment Litigation and recognized with the highest rating available to any individual lawyer by receiving an AV(R) rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating system, which is based upon the confidential opinions of members of the Bar and the Judiciary. We are also very proud that many defense attorneys, who have defended employers in cases where we have represented employees, refer employees who contact them to our firm when they are in need of an experienced employment law attorney.
